I am not sure how to make this available for direct download, but you can either save the picture to your computer and print it as a full sheet, or you can follow the link to flickr and get the full sized image there. It is meant to be printed on a full 8.5 X 11 " sheet. Merry Christmas!! I have included a tutorial right here. First, cut out each layer.
Then fold each circle 4 times.
You will end up with 16 folds on each circle.
On the last fold you will have to do it in sections, doing it all at once would be too hard and wouldn't give you a good fold.
Next glue the largest circle to the circle just a little smaller. Use the dots as guidelines, but don't worry too much about making it perfect. The farther you glue down on the upper circle the better, your tree will be taller. Alternate where you glue each one, otherwise your tree will be lopsided. Use a good glue that dries fast or glue dots. (I did a few more and used glue dots and I would reccomend not messing around with glue at all, just go straight for the glue dots!) The glue I am using in the picture didn't work very well. I ran out of my favorite glue (Nuetral pH Adhesive by Lineco) the other day. It is the best! It dries very quickly, stays flexible, and pretty much bonds forever.
When you get to the end you might not be able to glue in two places. glue the top piece onto the next lower piece before attaching them to the rest, it will be easier.
Those are my daughters toes in the picture. I didn't notice that she had climbed onto the table to see what I was up to.
When you are finished, make another, add decorations, make a whole forest! Send me pictures, I could love to see how yours turn out.
Merry Christmas!
