B.B.E. Best Birthday Ever!

So my 31st birthday was one of the best birthdays ever! I woke up and the little ones had already had breakfast. Adrian made breakfast. In fact, he sent Lily in to tell me breakfast was ready. We had Scarce Eggs (secret family recipe for pancakes). Then after a lazy morning we all got ready and went hiking in the Usury mountains. I picked an easy hike, a VERY easy hike. But when we got there we saw that instead of taking the loop around the hill, we could go straight over the top. The trail wan't too difficult and I thought it would be good for Ashley to have a challenge, so up we went. The way down was a little harder and Adrian ended up carrying Ashley with Lily on his back. I was carrying Mason in the sling.

The park had a playground so we had a good time there before finishing the other part of the "hike" and heading back to the car. That night I burned our pork chops for dinner. Oops! Sometimes you need to laugh at yourself right? And Ashley and Lily helped make my birthday cake. It was lemon with lemon frosting. Yum! I'm usually a chocolate girl, but I felt like Lemon. Ashley and Lily bought me a game. They couldn't wait for me to open it! Ashley whispered what it was to me in my ear because it was a secret! I guess he will figure that on out later. So we played this silly game with these cards you put up to your face and quess "Who am I?" We made up our own rules so that it was fun for everyone. Ahh, another day of Fun. I think it is the secret to a good life.
